Yeah I definitely wouldn't advise a special seed or Expert difficulty for a first run! Don't Starve Together is great also, and the two games had a crossover which is where the Constant seed I'm currently playing came from.

ETA: I've actually never played either of these games in co-op mode because I'm used to pausing constantly which of course you can't do when you're playing with others!
