The first Sim I ever created was a gay man. As was the next. And the third. I didn’t figure out I was a trans male until years later, but that might have been one of the hints in retrospect.

While I think the Sims 4 has a lot of flaws in gameplay compared with previous entries in the series, I love the gender patch. I always thought it was ridiculous to limit clothing, hairstyles, or accessories to a single gender, both in the Sims and real life. No longer!
