Thanks for your writing and activism. As a Black trans person I was appalled reading about Chappelle's continued transmisogyny, but you're sadly correct that he is a mirror of society's attitudes.

ETA: I’m acquainted with the good friend and former roommate of Daphne Dorman, the trans woman who died by suicide and was referenced (and misgendered) by Chappelle in his special. Her friend made a public post on Facebook about the situation, and OK’d sharing it; definitely worth a read.
