Thank you for sharing this information; enlightening. I'm a transmasculine US-American, but didn't have to register with the selective service for military duty as I transitioned in middle age (43). As a pacifist, I would have registered as a conscientious objector if necessary. I oppose anyone being forced to serve in any military because I oppose all warfare, but as long as militaries do exist, I support the right of people of any gender, sexual orientation, or trans status to join them.
