Sweeney Todd is my favorite musical, so I knew the film would have a high bar to clear for my appreciation. I thought it was reasonably well-done, but the casting of most of the actors just seemed off to me. If you haven't seen it and are interested, I highly recommend checking out the 1982 filmed stage production with George Hearn and Angela Lansbury.
