Speaking as a trans person who works for and with other trans people, we do, by and large, want cis people to voluntarily post the pronouns that they go by. If only trans and nonbinary people do this, then it becomes othering. The point is that pronouns and other gender signifiers should not be assumed based simply on a person's name or appearance.
