Sizes in clothes designed for women are so arbitrary anyway. Size 8 by one designer could be size 10 or 6 by another. When I transitioned and switched to wearing pants designed for men, I appreciated that they use actual measurements, waist and inseam. Even then there's some variation, but at least it's more consistent.
(I wrote "designed for" because I'm agender and clothing has no gender as far as I'm concerned.)
