Scanning the list of signatories on this statement, I was glad to see several of my Northwestern University (class of ’92) professors, including Garry Wills. In 1995, Wills wrote an analysis of the Second Amendment for the New York Review of Books. Food for thought for those (Trump supporters and others) who insist that the “right to keep and bear arms” is absolute, thus helping keep the U.S. enshrined as the mass murder capital of the world.
