Sadly, mainstream publications gonna mainstream; i.e, cater to predominantly cishet corporate interests. I took both Out and The Advocate to task a few years ago for featuring cishet celebrities, even naming Pope Francis "Person of the Year" for saying that maybe cishet people should be a little nicer to LGBTQ folks:

Regardless, I'm no longer on X/Twitter (left that, Facebook, and Instagram a year ago) so I couldn't block these publications even if I wanted to.
