My spouse and I have lived on Nob Hill for nearly 20 years without owning a car. I don't drive and have always gotten around on foot and public transit, and now take the occasional Lyft. My spouse bikes everywhere, with the occasional electric scooter or Zipcar rental. Not having kids and having jobs in SF helps.
