Like many (most?) people, I hate ads, so I understand why so many people use ad blockers. But I don't use them myself. If a site or service I use a lot has an option to pay for ad-free viewing, I do so.
My spouse and I watch YouTube more than any other streaming site, so it makes sense for us to pay for YouTube Premium. Especially as we watch a lot of videos on our smart TV, we probably wouldn't even have the option of using an ad blocker on that device (not seamlessly, anyway).
That said, I am annoyed with sites doing these pop-up warnings about ad blockers, as they are not even always accurate. I use Firefox with the default security settings, which apparently causes a lot of sites to think I'm using an ad blocker when I'm not.
