Just tested linking my iMac to my iPad mini and yes, it does work! Though I'm not sure there's a practical use case for me using my desktop keyboard and trackball with my iPad when my iMac is sitting right there, it's cool that I can do it.

ETA: This feature will be really cool if it can enable the use of an iPad as a graphics tablet, though I already bought some software for that purpose.
