I've played many, many hours of Stardew Valley (and agree that Leah is a fine spouse, having wedded her and several of the others). But nowadays, Terraria is the game I keep coming back to when I want to forget my real-world troubles and just enjoy myself. Despite its complexity, and despite being a pacifist who abhors violence, I find it highly appealing and absorbing.

Re romance options, you might enjoy Wylde Flowers; though the player character is fixed, the adult NPCs all have distinct sexual orientations rather than being "player sexual" (and one of them is nonbinary!)
