I'm getting a replacement crown for the second time this month, so reducing my two scheduled appointments to fifteen minutes is an appealing idea indeed. But I'll ask my dentist what she thinks about this development.

Follow-up: Just had the first of my two appointments, and mentioned this robot to my dentist before she got started on my crown replacement. She was (unsurprisingly) familiar with it, and said from the video she saw it was way too aggressive when prepping the patient. But she is looking forward to improvements to this technology. She said that doctors won’t be replaced by AI, but doctors that can’t work with AI will be replaced. (I’m paraphrasing here; I think my brain got numbed along with my gums :-P )
