I'm concerned that it's now been two weeks since this update was published, and I still haven't seen an official email notifying members of the partner program about this change. I don't think it's a good idea to relegate announcements like this solely to the "3 min read" publication. Even if you consider this change only small or cosmetic, it's clear from the comments here that many have been concerned about not getting the "chosen for further distribution" notification. I'm sure other writers who haven't read this story are still wondering why they're no longer seeing this notice.
