I'm an atheist, but I feel this statement unfairly equates "religion" with Judeo-Christian monotheism. This is what many in the U.S. do when they argue for "religious freedom"; they mean the freedom for conservative Christians to discriminate against everyone else. Let's not stoop to their level.
