I used to identify as bi, but after my gender transition decided that queer was a better fit. Being non-binary and having difficulty explaining the nuances of my sexual and romantic orientation, neither bisexual nor pansexual really suited me. Regardless, I respect others’ rights to choose whatever terms fit themselves, as long as they don’t apply those labels to other individuals without their consent.
