I too signed out of Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram late last year, and don't miss any of those networks. I am active on Mastodon, but not just to promote my work; I like the thoughts and conversations shared on that platform, and the lack of algorithms and advertising.

I do like blogging and commenting on blogs here on Medium, but I don't consider this to be a social media platform or a substitute for one.
