I temporarily deactivated my Facebook account in December, and haven't missed it. I really don't like their "walled garden" approach, and couldn't convince people to stop trying to contact me on Messenger, which I had no way to shut off. I also hated that they kept adding new notifications that I didn't ask for. Good riddance.
