I have so many issues with Facebook, but I haven’t cut the cord yet. I find as a blogger/photographer that most people won’t look at my work unless I post links to it from Facebook. Many events are planned there too - not just social gatherings, but social justice activism that I want to keep tabs on. It’s really frustrating that so many people have put so much trust in this deeply flawed product, but I see not having an active Facebook account as almost like not having a cell phone at this point; definitely doable, but people won’t be sympathetic or accommodating about it.
