I appreciate your responses in this thread. I'm hardly a Biblical expert, but didn't Jesus say something to the effect of when you pray, you should shut your door and pray in your home, not in a public place of worship? (Of course, people can and do interpret words in the various translations of the Bible to mean whatever suits their agenda...)
