I am also agender, and agree that mainstream depictions of androgyny are too stereotyped and narrow. While I have no interest in wearing makeup myself, I don’t want to bind my breasts or pursue top surgery either, and hate wearing the button-down shirts that best hide the curvature of my chest. I’ve always been most comfortable in jeans and T-shirts, but I dress that way for comfort, not to advertise a gender.
