FYI, the appropriate word for non-trans people is "cisgender" or "cis". Every time you say "woman" or "man" in your post, you should be prefixing that with "cis". Because trans women are also women and trans men are also men.

Regarding the concerns you state: For the last several years, there have been hundreds of legislative attempts in numerous states to bar trans people from all gender-affirming treatments. Not just forbid insurance from covering them, but forbid them outright. Some of these attempts have been successful. This is where my priorities lie.
