As an agender female-assigned person, I can very much relate to this article! Though I personally don’t have the desire to wear most clothing that would currently be considered femme - skirts, dresses, makeup, etc. - I wouldn’t go to such effort to hide my curves if having breasts and hips weren’t so firmly associated with being female. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only transmasculine person on Earth who doesn’t mind having breasts.
Great points about whiteness being considered the default as well. We need more visibility for non-binary people of color like Tyler Ford and Alok Vaid-Menon.
