Sadly, I'm not surprised at being thrown under the bus by the Democratic Party. I have not voted for a Democrat (nor Republican) for president in decades.

Regardless, I wish you success with this action. I'd been independently considering contacting my (Democratic) representatives about this latest transphobia. Even though I didn't vote for them, they are, theoretically, supposed to represent all citizens in their respective states or districts. I would like to believe that they would act with that in mind, not simply with the goal of being re-elected. But of course, that's not the political reality we live in.
